Hands & Feet: Volunteer Opportunities Sewing Volunteer / Instructor Description Teach others to sew. Mend and repair garments. Make dresses or outfits for dolls for Share-A-Toy.
Skills Experience sewing by hand and machine. Those who instruct need patience and a sense of reward in helping people help themselves. Some may prefer to sew but not instruct. All help is appreciated. Time Required Instruction is usually done Monday through Thursday mornings at the 9th Avenue location and usually lasts one to one and a half hours. Anyone able to do a class on one of these mornings please contact Julie for more information. Mending and repair can be done the same mornings as machines are available. If you have your own machine and want to work at home please let us know.
