Service Programs at the United Board of Missions

    The United Board of Missions serves mid- and South Jefferson County communities with a variety of programs to aid individuals and families in need.  All assistance programs require verification of the situation creating the need; and identification to help us coordinate our efforts with other assistance programs in the area. 

    Basic information required for assistance includes:

  • Social Security Cards for all members of the household

  • Driver's license (or state ID card) for all adults in the household

  • Proof of income from employment (two most recent pay stubs)

  • Proof of retirement income from Social Security, pensions, annuities, 401k plans

  • Proof of assistance from SSI, food stamps

  • Proof of child support payments
