Service Programs

Meals On Wheels

    Meals On Wheels delivers hot lunches twice a week (Tuesday and Friday) to elderly and severely disabled clients who cannot get out for meals.  Prepared in the kitchen of the United Methodist Temple, volunteers dish up and deliver the meals.  Without volunteers the program could not exist.

    Current cost is $30 per month per person (about $3.75 per meal) and donations are needed to provide assistance for needy persons.  Those who are able to pay can sign up for the program.  Contact the Mission at 409-962-5661 x102.

 

Meals-On-Wheels volunteers fill containers, prepare to deliver, and clean up afterward.
